Sushi Axiom-West Fort Worth: A Trendy Destination for Fresh Sushi and More

Love this place. Best jalapeño rolls you can find anywhere. They have been consistent with the food. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Location and ambiance are very well maintained and in a heart of the downtown. Be ready for some wait time during weekend.

The wife and I went to Sushi Axiom last night after seeing some great reviews online. We were not disappointed! There was no wait even though it was Saturday night. The server was very friendly and attentive checking on us often. The highlight of the night was the Sushi!!! The Sashimi Salmon and a spicy Tuna melted in my mouth. The rolls were excellent as well! We will definitely be back!

Delicious axiom and Texan roll. Came here for my birthday and they gave me a free virgin cocktail which btw was delicious. Been coming for years about once every 6 months and the rolls are always tasty.

We entered the restaurant which boasts of a beautiful waterfall as you walk in. You are quickly greeted at the host stand. It’s right by the door, convenient to help you find a table. We sat down at a four top and a lovely blonde, waitstaff young lady came over to help us. She was very attentive and very helpful, and we were really really fortunate to have such a great person helping us. I ordered vegetable tempura, which were on point, warm, crispy cooked and everything that we had was delicious, and hot. Our waitstaff brought us whatever we needed right away. I am highly giving this place five stars because they are always always on point with service, with food value prices, with a taste, temperature of the food, cleanliness, and everything. It is definitely a jewel in the Montgomery Plaza area.

The spicy tuna & crab nachos DELISH! Ahi tuna entree was very good too. If you don't like sweet sauce ask for it on the side. Fried rice was tasty but I have yet to fine a really good fried rice.

I was greeted and seated right away but it took a while before my waiter came to my table. I was about to go to the bar but someone finally came to take a drink order and stated my waiter would come shortly. The overall service was slow even though there were more empty tables than full. This does not take away from the fact that the waiter who had a welcoming smile was friendly, polite, and informative. Atmosphere was lively at the bar and not too loud from where I was seated (again, the restaurant was not full). The space was clean and had a peaceful water wall, which I was seated next to. Some of the seating arrangements share either a banquette or a booth, which enables you to hear the whole conversation next to you or may not provide privacy if you are coupled up. But there is plenty of table seating. The sushi was good, fresh, and the selection was vast. I had the vegetable tempura, but it wasn't brought out to me as soon as it was ready, so it wasn't piping hot and the natural water from the vegetables took away from the crisp. The martini cocktail I had was very good! There were many to choose from and the waiter helped me with selecting one that I would like. Overall, the food was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere was calming and inviting and the space was clean. If I lived in the area I would return. ***I did not go to the restrooms.

Food was good and very tasty. Loved the Dynamite Scallop Roll which was amazing. T Some were a little too pricy and service was a tad slow but I do think they were down with wait staff and our poor server was really stressed. I feel for them that the fact they have to work so hard manning so many tables beyond their capabilities. However kudos to still keeping up and giving customers the best. I hope they are paid well and they deserve the 20% if not more.

The Cherry Blossom roll is my favorite! Great atmosphere and fun for a birthday celebration. The chicken wings are delightfully crispy.
